In regard to my theory that Rey is Obi-Wan's granddaughter...
-She is very sneaky on StarKiller...
-...but she's a really good pilot, and Obi-Wan hated flying
-I still want my theory to be right!
Also, when Finn faces Kylo Ren...
-Kylo Ren says, "That lightsaber. It belongs to me."
Finn says, "Come get it."
But then Finn runs toward him. Hahaha what a dork.

I just want it to be anything but Skywalker. Kenobi would be better, but I'd just prefer her to be completely unrelated to established characters since it's an entire galaxy and there are more people than just two families.
Some people are saying she trained with Luke when he was training Ben, but I don't think that's the case. Kylo clearly doesn't recognize her at all and I would have thought that would come up. Like a "you" or "it's not possible" or something.

Yeah, so my reasons for thinking she's a Kenobi are:
-Alec Guinness & Ewan McGregor's voices in the vision
-British accent (simplistic as that sounds)
-Thematically awesome that Kylo Ren emulates his grandfather whose greatest adversary was Obi-Wan. Then Kylo Ren faces...Obi-Wan's granddaughter
-It makes the final 30 seconds of TFA so cool. Obi-Wan's granddaughter hands back Anakin's lightsaber to Luke.
I agree, though. I'd rather her be a complete random. I'm just not very confident they'll go that route.
Also...it's interesting that when the one officer says "accompanied by a girl," Kylo Ren loses his ****. It makes me think they do have some sort of history, though she probably doesn't remember it.

I've read some convincing arguments for it. Those are good points, and if they are going somehow related, Kenobi is my top choice.
Oh yeah, I forgot about him losing it when the officer told him. Hm.

in either the novelization or the script it says that when kylo faces off with rey he says so it is you, and that comment makes her very uneasy, so we are back to not knowing what is happening
